Press release date: 22nd November 2013

Scandinavian Airlines continues to improve its customer service by creating new routes for the summer 2014 timetable.

From the end of March 2014, SAS will be opening seven routes which include Stockholm to Visby, Oslo to Edinburgh and Oslo to Aalborg. These launches reflect increased customer demand for new nonstop services.

Alan Sparling, Country Manager for Scandinavian Airlines Ireland, said of the announcement
“For Summer 2014, SAS Ireland will increase the number of seats on their Dublin Copenhagen route by 9% compared to Summer 2013 and on Dublin Oslo, will increase the number of seats by 11% compared to Summer 2013. We are delighted to see the expansion of routes continue and at the same time, to put even more production on already exisiting routes such as Dublin.”

He continued, “With our new service concept SAS Go and SAS Plus, we offer exceptional value for money together with an unrivalled number of departures from Dublin Airport,” says Alan Sparring, Manager SAS Ireland

This announcement rounds off a great year for SAS. In 2013, the airline launched more than 50 new domestic and European routes, as well as the popular Copenhagen to San Francisco route. Earlier this Autumn, SAS also opened two new year-round routes, Copenhagen to Bremen and Copenhagen to Humberside, and announced two routes for the winter season 2013, Oslo to Sochi and Copenhagen to Salzburg.

These new routes, and more, are available to book on www.flysas.ie.
