FROSCH Ireland has welcomed the news that Aer Lingus will place its direct Dublin to Bridgetown flights on sale, providing Irish travellers with a rare opportunity to fly non-stop to the Caribbean from Ireland.
The Dublin–Barbados service will operate for an initial two-month period, beginning March 31st and finishing May 31st. Flights will run three times weekly on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays offering added flexibility for leisure travellers. Fares are available from €229 each way, including taxes, fees and carrier charges.
Departures from Dublin are scheduled for 13:50, arriving into Grantley Adams International Airport at 18:00 local time. The return service will depart Bridgetown at 19:30, arriving back into Dublin at 08:40 the following morning.
The service facilitates passengers whose original Manchester–Barbados flights were impacted by Aer Lingus’ decision to withdraw its transatlantic services from Manchester, while also opening up direct access to Barbados for the wider Irish market during this period.
“This is a very positive development for Irish travellers,” said Jackie Sheehan, Sales Director Corporate/Leisure at FROSCH Ireland. “Direct access from Dublin removes a significant barrier for clients considering Barbados, particularly those looking for a premium leisure experience without the complexity of UK connections.”
Barbados has long been regarded as one of the Caribbean’s most attractive destinations, offering a combination of high-end resorts, private villas, strong dining credentials and a relaxed yet refined atmosphere. Improved ease of access is expected to drive interest across honeymoon, luxury leisure and longer-stay holiday segments.
“While this is a limited operational window, it gives Irish travellers a straightforward and appealing way to experience Barbados,” added Sheehan. “Our focus is on ensuring clients make the most of that opportunity by matching the destination with the right style of accommodation and itinerary, rather than simply booking flights and hotels in isolation.”
FROSCH Ireland is currently advising clients on Barbados travel options for the March to May period and working closely with trusted partners on the ground to deliver tailored Caribbean holidays from departure to return.
