November was one of our busiest months of 2025, with industry awards, international events, and a packed calendar of client activity.
BGTW Gala Awards
Michael, Colm and Sophie kicked off the month in London at the British Guild of Travel Writers Annual Gala Awards Dinner. Held at One Marylebone, the evening marked the 65th anniversary of the Guild and celebrated their Members’ Excellence Awards and International Tourism Awards.

The event, presented in partnership with Meet Boston, Explore Charleston and Discover Philadelphia, also launched the Guild’s newest anthology, Around the World in 65 Years. The TravelMedia.ie team covered the event across social media throughout the night, supporting partners and celebrating the best of travel writing and storytelling ahead of WTM.
WTM London – Meeting Clients & Media
The following morning, the team was straight into World Travel Market. Michael, Sophie and Colm attended meetings with clients — including Barbados — and connected with journalists, creators and partners from across the UK and Ireland. As always, WTM was a valuable chance to strengthen relationships, explore new project ideas and map out plans for 2026.

Galicia Tourism Event – A Taste of Northwest Spain in Dublin
Mid-month, Galicia Tourism hosted an evening event at The Dean Dublin, bringing together Irish travel agents, tour operators and media for a showcase of one of Spain’s most captivating regions.

The night featured supplier networking, news of upcoming fam trips for the Irish market, and passionate presentations from Cesáreo Pardal, President of Cluster Turismo de Galicia. Attendees enjoyed drinks, canapés and a celebration of authentic, sustainable travel — with a few lucky agents winning prizes from Galician suppliers.

Visit USA Thanksgiving Trade Show – Susan Represents Bradley International
Susan attended the annual Visit USA Thanksgiving Trade Show on behalf of Bradley International Airport. The day included scheduled meetings with Visit USA members, destination updates, new product insights and supplier presentations from across the United States — from Delta Airlines and Brand USA to Maverick Helicopters, Deep South, Kennedy Space Center, Pure Michigan, Colorado, and more.

The follow-up evening reception at The Mayson offered even more networking and plenty of Stateside inspiration for the Irish trade.
Travel Centres Conference – Representing Bradley International
Susan also attended the Travel Centres Annual Conference in Naas, marking its 20th anniversary. With over 200 delegates, presentations from industry leaders, training sessions, tech updates and a gala dinner, it was another strong opportunity to represent Bradley International Airport and connect with key travel agency partners.

ITTN Irish Travel Trade Awards – A Big Night for the Industry
To close out the month, the full TravelMedia.ie team worked at the ITTN Irish Travel Trade Awards at the Clayton Hotel Burlington Road — creating social media content throughout the night. Bradley International Airport also proudly sponsored the photo booth.

The awards celebrated the very best across the Irish travel trade, with standout entertainment, industry recognition, and plenty of memorable moments (including the now-famous light-up wristbands).

Huge congratulations to all the winners across the Supplier and Agency categories — including FROSCH Ireland, who took home Best Corporate Agency. It was a brilliant evening to wrap up a vibrant and productive month for the travel industry.
