October was another lively month for the TravelMedia.ie team — from conferences and client events – here’s what we got up to!
Tour America Celebrations
Stacey from BTMI and Sophie joined Tour America at their 30-year anniversary dinner, held at The Devlin Hotel in Ranelagh. Guests enjoyed a relaxed evening of barbecue dining, signature cocktails, and great conversation as Tour America marked three decades in business — a fantastic milestone for one of Ireland’s leading travel companies.

Over the weekend, Sophie and Stacey were back representing Barbados Tourism Marketing Inc. at the 25th Annual Tour America Red Cow Sale at the Maldron Hotel, Tallaght. The event was buzzing, with 30 exhibitors — including major names like Aer Lingus, Royal Caribbean, and Universal Orlando — offering exclusive travel deals to eager holidaymakers. From cruise packages to sun holidays, there was something for everyone, and the Barbados table proved especially popular with visitors dreaming of their next Caribbean escape.

ITAA Conference 2025 – Portugal
Colm, Susan, and Michael travelled to the Center of Portugal for the ITAA Conference 2025, where delegates enjoyed a packed itinerary of networking, learning, and local experiences.
The conference kicked off with a warm Portuguese welcome at the stunning Hotel Montebelo Mosteiro de Alcobaça, followed by a wine reception and dinner at Restaurant António Padeiro. Delegates took part in a variety of activities the next day — from golf and walking tours to a visit to Fátima — before gathering for a lively “Wine Party” at Quinta da Cerca do Colégio.
Conference sessions covered key topics shaping the travel industry, including the role of AI, NDC developments, and innovative marketing strategies. Presentations from industry leaders such as Ricardo Dinis (TAP Airlines), Danny Waine (Travelnomads), and Claire Doherty (Travel Department) sparked discussion and inspiration throughout the day.
The event concluded with an elegant gala dinner and a series of cultural excursions, highlighting Portugal’s hospitality and deep connections with the Irish travel trade.

Wild Rover Tours
This month, TravelMedia.ie began working with Wild Rover Tours on a series of new influencer campaigns, building on our long-standing relationship with the award-winning Irish tour company. The partnership will focus on creative collaborations designed to showcase Wild Rover’s day tours and experiences to new audiences through high-quality, authentic video content. That’s a wrap for October 2025 — a month filled with exciting industry conferences, and new projects.
