Barbados Tourism Attends Aer Lingus Global Sales Conference in Dublin, Ireland

The 2022 Aer Lingus Global Sales Conference took place on Tuesday 6th of December in Dublin, Ireland, following a two-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Barbados Tourism Marketing Inc. were delighted to be one of only two tourist boards invited to speak at this year’s conference, which was well attended by Aer Lingus’ global sales teams.

Barbados Tourism was represented at the Aer Lingus Global Sales Conference by Director of UK, Cheryl Carter, and Business Development Officer, Gloria Carter. Both delegates made a presentation to conference attendees, highlighting the importance BTMI’s long-standing partnership with Aer Lingus and the airline’s direct route from Manchester to Bridgetown.

Inviting BTMI to speak at the Global Sales Teams Conference illustrates Aer Lingus’ commitment to Barbados and their support of the Manchester to Bridgetown route, which returned this winter following a successful launch in October 2021.

BTMI Director of UK & Ireland, Cheryl Carter, said “Barbados Tourism Marketing Inc. was honoured to be invited to speak at this year’s Aer Lingus Global Conference in Ireland. The resumption of Aer Lingus’ route from Manchester to Bridgetown underscores the airline’s confidence in Barbados as a destination for UK and Irish holidaymakers. We look forward to further growing our relationship with Aer Lingus in the future”
