Hotel Honucai starts the season highlighting the authentic Mallorca

The Salicornia restaurant devotes its cuisine to fish and The Top terrace promotes Robata, raw food and signature cocktails, all with magnificent views of the Mediterranean

Hotel Honucai (Mallorca) begins the season during Easter with a strong commitment to respecting the origins of Mallorca. They value and promote connection with the island’s gentle rhythm, its fishing villages, handmade craft markets, and delicious food based on freshly caught goods. All of this is possible thanks to the Colnia de Sant Jordi’s fortunate location in the island’s south.

“At Hotel Honucai we value the connection with the island” – explains Marta Golobardes, general director of Gallery Hotels, a group to which Hotel Honucai belongs – “we like our guests to feel that they are at home in Mallorca facing the sea, we encourage them to discover and connect with the authentic Mallorca, its culture and its gastronomy”. Stroll through coves of crystal-clear waters in Es Dolç and Es Carbó, enjoy the sunset by boat through the natural landscape of the island of Cabrera, enjoy bike rides in the surroundings, even an evening exploring the fine restaurants to learn the sea specialties of the area, all so that they can create their own history, unique and unrepeatable.”

Boutique hotel in Colònia de Sant Jordi, in the south of Mallorca

This boutique hotel located in colònia de Sant Jordi, an old fishing port in the southeast of the island of Mallorca, offers the privilege of sleeping on the seafront, merging visitors with a marked Mediterranean style, natural and marine materials, in a lively atmosphere full of light.

Its restaurant Salicornia, a reference in fish

With an authentic taste of the sea, the restaurant located on the ground floor of the hotel is taking a natural leap this year to focus on fish cuisine, promoting the produce of the island, so that visitors and locals alike can enjoy native recipes crafted by chef Pablo Tomás.  (ex Drolma and elBulli).

The hotel rooftop, The TOP, promotes Robata, raw bar and cocktail bar overlooking the Mediterranean

Travel to the sixth floor, where you can surround yourself with the sea and let yourself be carried away by the most groundbreaking and fresh proposal of the hotel. The cuisine of The Top reinvents the Japanese grill, Robatayaki, working it with local produce that maintain the essence of the island. As a counterpoint, The TOP offers a Raw Bar with a fireless kitchen and fresh and fun dressings, all to be paired with an excellent cocktail, incredible views of the Mediterranean and live music every weekend.
