• What’s New for Phocuswright 2017?

Same great conference – More Engagement with Start-ups and Millennials

Phocuswright is the travel industry research authority on how travelers, suppliers and intermediaries connect. The Phocuswright Conference has been taking place for many years and has grown quite substantially since its inception, expanding into Europe and India. The 2017 North America Conference will see some exciting changes. These changes are aimed at engaging more with the start-up audience and younger members of the travel tech industry.

    More Networking Opportunities

We want to make the Phocuswright Conference experience much more valuable for attendees. This year’s event will see changes to the networking areas. They will be reconfigured to facilitate more discussions and meetings. Organisers will actively help participants to meet with one another. This will help with the exchange of ideas, information, opportunities and experiences as the brightest minds in the travel technology industry come together.

The improved networking opportunities will be particularly beneficial to start-ups and attendees looking to meet with industry leaders.

    Programming Changes

There will be programming changes with the aim of showcasing topics that focus on specific industry needs. The changes won’t be dramatic, but the fresh approach to all areas of the conference will make the experience much more valuable for attendees.

    Changes to Battleground

Battleground has been a real success at the conference with over 600 participants at The Phocuswright Conference 2016 Battleground in L.A. Our aim is to continue to showcase innovative and impactful online travel startups while providing a platform for interaction, feedback, alumni networking and access to Phocuswright research. With the growing popularity and success of Battleground it will now take place separate to the main conference with events on the East and West Coasts.

Battleground winners will secure spots to demonstrate their innovation at The Phocuswright Conference 2017 in Hollywood, Florida in November.
