September was another busy month for the TravelMedia.ie team, with conferences, roadshows, and press trips keeping us on the move.
TBEX Europe 2025 – Letterkenny
Michael, Sophie, Darragh, and Shaun attended TBEX Europe 2025, held in Letterkenny, Co. Donegal from September 9–12.
The event brought together travel creators, influencers and industry professionals from around the world. Over three days, the team took part in keynote sessions, breakout workshops on storytelling, SEO, and influencer marketing, as well as speed networking opportunities with creators and brands.
The evenings were filled with social events, giving everyone the chance to connect in a relaxed setting while experiencing Donegal’s renowned hospitality. The conference proved invaluable for networking, learning about new industry trends, and showcasing Ireland as a welcoming destination for global creators.
TBEX FAM to Kildare
After TBEX, TravelMedia.ie facilitated a post-conference trip to County Kildare for two fantastic creators: Dr. Nadine C. Duncan of The Travelling Black Women Network and Tara McAndrew of Travel With TMC.
Their itinerary included a guided tour of the Irish National Stud and Gardens, the immersive Legends of Kildare VR Experience, an exclusive preview of the Shackleton Experience in Athy, and even a relaxing barge trip on the Grand Canal from Sallins. They also enjoyed local dining, entertainment, and the warm welcome of Kildare’s hospitality partners.
This trip highlighted Kildare’s rich heritage, unique attractions, and strong tourism offering – all through the eyes of international creators.
TTR Autumn Roadshow 2025
The team hit the road once again for the TTR Autumn Roadshow, which visited Dublin, Limerick, and Cork.
Each night brought together travel agents with tourism boards, airlines, tour operators, and other suppliers for speed networking sessions. Attendees enjoyed a mix of one-to-one meetings, and informal catch-ups designed to strengthen relationships within the Irish travel trade.
In Dublin, the roadshow opened to a great turnout, with agents eager to hear the latest updates from suppliers. The event then travelled to Limerick, where the Strand Hotel provided a warm welcome and the atmosphere was buzzing with conversation. The series wrapped up in Cork, where guests enjoyed a fantastic evening of networking and prize giveaways.
The roadshow once again proved to be an excellent opportunity for the industry to plan ahead for the busy seasons to come.
